Of the track, that is. Look at how straight his beautiful, long black legs are when they hit the track.
Go outside and sprint. Seriously, go try it. I know I’ve tumbled about the before, but very few people are natural sprinters. Low COM and hips. Incomplete leg cycles. Zero dorsiflexion. Bent knees when the foot touches the ground. Hunched over. When sprinting (not necessarily accelerating), one wants to have an elastic response from their legs when they hit the ground. To get the leg range of motion required to achieve this elastic response, a full leg cycle is necessary. Butt kick to high knee to triple extension before the foot hits the ground. This is exceedingly hard to do, and it has taken me years to learn it, but I’m really starting to reap its benefits. Watch the best in the world.
