Only 12 men in history have ever cleared this height, with the highest besides Bubka going only 6.06 meters. Bubka’s PR, and the world record, stands at 6.15 meters.
This jump is considered, without a doubt, the greatest vault in history. Bubka made this height look like absolute child’s play. With the correct positioning of the standards, he could have easily jumped 6.4 meters. There will never be another vaulter like Sergey Bubka.
